SEE Groups (Spiritual Enrichment Evenings)
A SEE Group is a small group of members within our congregation that intentionally cares for one another. A SEE Group gathers with the shared goal of learning (the message of the Bible), loving (God through worship and one another through edification), and sharing (the good news of Jesus and serving those outside the group).

Campus Ministry
The Campus Ministry wants to provide the college student, with a "home" church. We know that being a college student is a challenging time of life. We are committed to providing opportunities for spiritual growth that will enable students to have the collegiate success they expect. We want to provide an environment that is uplifting and encouraging, feeling the support of our Christian family. We seek to provide an avenue to become quickly involved in church life at CMR. There are regularly scheduled Bible study and fellowship opportunities to provide a doorway into the life of the church family.

Organized events on Duke and UNC’s campuses take place on a weekly basis. Sunday nights at UNC is a time of Bible study and prayer while Wednesday nights are a night of fellowship and worship. On Wednesday nights, we have a home cooked meal together and then spend time in worship and reflection on God’s work. Several Duke students participate in the Bible studies and worship at Chapel Hill. Each week, many of the Duke faculty and students get together for lunch.

In 2004, the Alpha Course (a weekly gathering for a meal and foundational teachings of the Christian faith) is being made available to college students.

Senior Saints’ Ministry
Senior Saints ministry provides a small group atmosphere where good things happen: fellowship, support, and, for many, a connection to the larger body. The group has had several activities, all aimed at enhancing the group’s intimacy, which includes service projects, lunches, trips to the State Fair, and information sharing. The group has a wealth of faith and wisdom and welcomes others to join at any time. Those who would like to help can provide transportation to activities or provide special programs and ideas. People of other ages are welcome to interact with the group.

The group meets once a month on Saturday usually in the fellowship hall. Some of our activities have included trips to the State Fair, Museum of Art, game day, and projects such as compiling a booklet of words of wisdom for our younger members.
