The worship ministry brings together the various elements of
the worship service to create a unified and uplifting experience
for the congregation.
The following roles are key elements of the worship service:
- Prayer -
During services each Sunday an
assigned volunteer member prays aloud for the entire congregation
- Scripture Reading -
Every Sunday during services we have assigned scripture readings
by a member or by members of the congregation.
- Communion Meditation -
On Sunday morning, a member of the congregation speaks about the
significance of the Lord’s Supper and offers prayers of thanks
for Jesus Christ and for his supper.
- Communion Serving -
Servers are stationed behind the Lord’s table and they ensure
that everyone is served.
- Song Leading -
Hymns sung during our assemblies are led by a member of the
congregation.
This ministry takes care of pre-worship coordination of those who
serve in worship. Pertinent information regarding the worship service
is communicated to those who serve, and vacant worship service spots are filled.
